Hey, I’m Ayse

I love organizing! I have always had a brain for organization, ever since I was little. As a child I would go over to friend’s homes and clean their rooms, it’s no wonder I was always invited back! Organizing and categorizing is just the way my brain is wired and I cannot turn it off. I have been helping friends organize their spaces for many years, until it finally dawned on me that this is something I would be passionate doing professionally. These days, I see organizing as a way to care for yourself through your space. Not as a chore, but rather as a ritual. A choice to claim what is yours. Your space is sacred and its time to love the space you are in!

I am a Seattle native who’s lived all over Washington State- Whidbey Island, Bellingham, Acme, and all over Seattle. I currently reside in North Seattle with my husband and my almost 7 year old Italian Greyhound Panda. I spent my childhood summers being raised by family from my Father’s remote Turkish mountain village where spent my days chasing chickens, riding around in tractors to help in our family’s vegetable fields, and milking goats. These unique experiences gave me beautiful insight at a young age to better understand the power of community and fostered my love for gardening.

I am an artist! I LOVE crafting supplies and enjoy rotating craft projects with the seasons. At the moment, I am deep into acrylic painting and making jewelry using objects I save from the landfill. Additionally, I am an avid sewer, I make collages with random objects and lots of hot glue, and make pretty cards to use for snail mail pen paling. Future crafty projects include botanical printing on clothes, tie dyeing, resin jewelry, and I’d love to learn how to knit (ahh so many things to make)! If you have a craft room to organize, I will be overjoyed!!!

I love science! I attended Bastyr University where I received my Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Exercise Science and my Masters of Public Health with a focus in Social Justice. I’ve taken countless chemistry classes and have always loved learning about how the world around us and inside of us works on a molecular level.

I was going to tell you a joke about sodium and hydrogen... but NaH.
